Sunday! Sunday! Sunday! August 31 is the last day to enter the Summer Reading Contest. It has been a long ride and we are very close to the finish.
As of this writing, $91 has gone into the pot. So close to that goal of $100. I know you all can do it over this holiday weekend.

Oh noes, I'm not going to make it! Argh! This summer has been really bad for reading. Well, for fiction reading. I've spent too much time with specification sheets, reports, and the law.
Just one more book, Steve! Or maybe a pamphlet. Or a leaflet. Or ...

I finally finished the Sean Russell trilogy I was reading! Now I have a day and a half to read like mad!
Woo hoo!
I spent today *doing* things and not slacking and being lazy as was proper.
I don't think I'll finish another book tonight.
